Deer causes accident
A deer crossing sign can be seen where a deer was attempting to cross Highway 81 Sunday night causing an accident. The driver of a southbound truck was braking to avoid a deer crossing the roadway when he was rear ended by a van. The driver and a passenger from each vehicle were taken to area hospitals by Pelzer and Williamston EMS. Powdersville firefighters assisted with patient care and traffic control.
