Fatal head on
Firefighters work to extinguish a van and truck fire Saturday afternoon following a head on accident on Slab Bridge Road. Firefighters from Three and Twenty, Walker – McElmoyle, and Liberty responded along with Pelzer EMS. A pickup truck puling a livestock trailer apparently crossed the center line and struck a van head-on. Both vehicles burned and the driver of the van died in the wreck. The driver of the truck was taken to Greenville Memorial hospital. (Photo by David Rogers)
