Orange Bowl Chairman to speak to AATC
Ford Gibson, President and Chairman of the Orange Bowl Committee will be the speaker at the Anderson Area Touchdown Club meeting November 2nd. Gibson will preside over the 2012-2013 Orange Bowl Festival which includes the 2013 Discover Orange Bowl and the 2013 Discover BCS National Championship Game.
Gibson is a leading realtor in South Florida and a graduate of Clemson University, having lettered in football and graduated with a BS in Construction Management.
The players and coach who were honored at the Friday, October 26th meeting were: Co-Offensive – Ishmell Williams, Hanna; Cam Blackburn, Pendleton; Defensive – B.J. Yeargin, Crescent; Lineman – D.J. Jones, Wren and Coach – Jeff Tate, Wren.
The AATC meets at the Anderson County Library with the meal line opening at 11:30am and the program begins at 12:10pm. Visitors are welcome and the meal cost is $15. Call 864/226-7380 for additional information
