Senator Kevin Bryant will hold a Town Hall meeting on Monday, February 27, to discuss a new bill (S.1169) which gives a special endorsement to veterans on their drivers’ licenses and other Department of Motor Vehicles identifications.

POWDERSVILLE – Speaking to a handful of people who attended a town hall meeting Monday night in Powdersville, House District 10 Rep. Joshua Putnam listed and explained several pieces of proposed legislation which he either sponsored, or signed onto as a co-sponsor.
Third District Congressman Jeff Duncan and South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson will hold a joint town hall meeting in the Upstate on Tuesday, February 21 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Easley Campus of Tri-County Technical College. The town hall will focus on the federal government’s legal actions against South Carolina.

Anderson County Council District Six representative Ken Waters will hold another in a series of town hall meetings at the end of this month.
The subject matter for the January 30th meeting will be determined by the citizens who show up, said Councilman Waters. “I’m bringing my ears because I want to know what the folks in my District have on their minds. I have invited representative from Innovate Anderson to come and discuss the proposed countywide two cents hospitality tax but I haven’t received a confirmation from them yet. But there are plenty of other things to be discussed as well.”
